As the CFO for CU Service Network, Branda leads their outsourced accounting service CU Works Accounting, which has recently expanded from coast to coast. She assists credit unions with strategic accounting, regulatory help, budgeting, and financials.
Branda has many years of credit union experience, which began at Denver Community Credit Union in the accounting department. With a good deal of hard work, she worked her way up to become Chief Operating Officer. Afterwards, she worked for Premier Members CU as the Interim CEO and President/COO, overseeing twelve branches and all corporate real estate. She then went to Partner Colorado Credit Union for a year and a half as the EVP.
At this point, Branda decided it was time for a change and started her own business in credit union strategic accounting. She was also Chairman of the Rocky Mountain CUES Council for nearly a decade - so she certainly is a familiar face among credit unions in the region.
Branda's degrees include: a B.A. in Criminal Justice, a B.S. and MBA in Finance, as well as her CPA. Branda has two children and enjoys all things "outdoor." She hikes, scuba dives, snowmobiles, and golfs.
McKayla is a mover-and-shaker Accountant II in our CU Works Accounting team. Ever since she was little, she's had a passion for numbers and puzzles; there isn't a more fitting job for her than spending all day looking at numbers and balancing spreadsheets. McKayla does processing for multiple credit union clients, as well as monthly reconciliations.
McKayla is strong believer in serving others and the credit union industry keeps proving to be the perfect place for her. She has a degree from Oral Roberts University in Accounting.
Outside of a life full of numbers, there are many other things that hold her interest. In college, she was on the competitive cheerleading team and competed in many National competitions. She loves being active and traveling. "I strongly believe that whatever you believe about yourself and the world around you, becomes your reality. So why not make your world the best that it can be."
